Tavish has been working in the Social Work field since 2012. She received her BS in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Utah and her Master of Social Work degree from Arizona State University. Tavish is passionate about complex trauma work and healing attachment injuries. Additionally she can help with mood disorders, stress and anxiety, managing neurodiverse symptoms, and life transitions of all kinds. She has experience working with all ages, from young children to elderly end of life care. Tavish has worked in treatment centers, in child welfare, hospital and police settings, and hospice. She utilizes a variety of evidence based techniques such as CBT, DBT, and Mind Body Bridging, although she is known to bring in IFS, play therapy, drama therapy, or somatic techniques. She is certified in EMDR and is currently a Consultant-in-Training through EMDRIA. Tavish believes the best healing is done when there is a strong therapeutic relationship and is committed to helping you find what you need from therapy. When not in session, she spends quality time with her family and collects an obscene amount of board games. Tavish is secretly a mermaid and needs to be around large bodies of water regularly, so you will catch her camping or traveling as often as she can!
