Jamie Lafontaine, LMFT-A

As an Associate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I am passionate about helping individuals, couples, and families build healthier relationships with themselves and those around them. Over the past two years, I have worked with clients facing a wide range of mental health, trauma, and substance use concerns in both residential treatment and outpatient settings. I have extensive experience supporting individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders, and I understand the complex ways these challenges can affect relationships, family systems, and overall well-being. These experiences have given me a deep appreciation for each person’s unique journey and the resilience it takes to create lasting change.
My clinical approach is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that healing happens through connection, self-awareness, and practical tools for growth. I specialize in helping clients heal from trauma, strengthen boundaries, overcome codependent relationship patterns, improve emotional regulation, and navigate complex family and relationship dynamics. Whether you’re working through life transitions, relationship conflict, the impact of trauma, substance use, or co-occurring mental health concerns, I strive to create a safe, supportive environment where you feel heard, understood, and empowered.
I enjoy working with individuals, couples, and families from diverse backgrounds and tailor therapy to meet each client’s unique needs and goals. I believe that lasting change often happens within relationships, and I work collaboratively with clients to improve communication, rebuild trust, strengthen family connections, and foster healthier patterns of interaction. My goal is to help clients create meaningful, sustainable change that extends beyond the therapy room.
I believe that seeking therapy is an act of courage, and I am honored to walk alongside my clients as they discover their strengths, deepen self-understanding, and move toward the life and relationships they want to create.
